Painted by myself, Æzlynd Wanderin, from a photograph which was also taken by me.
California has many beautiful State and National beaches. These protected areas are a nice place to watch the tide, take a stroll, have a picnic with friends or family, play, or just enjoy the beauty of the world. Standing up on a ledge high above this beach, I thought it would look beautiful in a painting. The mountains and the beach seem to pull you into another world, with only the bridge in the distance serving to anchor the scene to reality.

‘Mountains, a Beach, and a bridge’ is painted using professional-grade oil paints on an 8-inch x 10-inch canvas board and mounted in a 10-inch x 12-inch floater frame. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity and a provenance report.
I was experimenting with limited color palettes when I painted this piece, and I did so using only various shades of red, yellowish green, bluish green, black, and white. In my opinion, these colors lent themselves perfectly to the painting’s landscape subject.

Please note that only the painting and it’s frame are available for sale. All other items shown in the photographs are props and will not be included and are not are available for sale.
The most obvious flaw of this painting is that when I was creating it I got the placement of the mountains in the background wrong and was not able to completely hide my mistake when I painted over it. As such the old outline can be seen as rough texture against the sky just above the mountains.
